Lan A student activist in Shanghai named Yan Zhi, the daughter of a wealthy banker, accidentally acquires a letter from the Japanese Army in 1937. Her crush, Zhou Yu Hao, a respectable officer in the Chinese Army, mistakenly believes she is a spy. Yan Zhi consents to break into her best friend Feng Man Na's house in order to prove her innocence and assist Yu Hao in finding an enigmatic "Mister Traitor." When the search turns up a family member, though, what will Yan Zhi do?
